Imkoniyat bor - Portlash vaqtida taksi haydovchisi Keyt Laturaning mashinasi Nyu-Jersiga olib boruvchi ulkan suv osti tunneliga kiraverishda joylashgan. Tunnel bo'ylab ulkan olov shari o'tadi. Faqat o'nlab qo'rqib ketgan odamlar tirik qoldi. Ular tashqaridan yordamisiz chiqa olmaydi. Keyt Latura tunnelga kirib, odamlarni undan olib chiqish uchun umidsiz harakat qiladi. Машина таксиста Кита Латуры в момент взрыва оказывается на въезде в огромный подводный тоннель, ведущий в Нью-Джерси. Огромный огненный шар проносится по тоннелю. В живых остается только дюжина испуганных людей. Без посторонней помощи им не выбраться. Кит Латура совершает отчаянную попытку пробраться в тоннель и вывести из него людей. Много лет назад он работал в службе спасения, но был уволен, когда сотрудники, находившиеся у него в подчинении, погибли, выполняя его приказы. Теперь у Латуры появляется шанс искупить свою вину. Он должен спасти беззащитных людей.
